An exciting course where we will help each other to craft great short stories. We will read both classic and popular short stories, analyse key conventions such as characterisation, genres, tension and dialogue, before trying our hands at small writing activities. Later in the course, you will experiment in class with writing your own short story which you will draft with teacher and peer input before submitting for assessment. This will be a great course for anyone who loves reading, writing, discussing stories and who wants to boost their vocabulary without an explicit focus on spelling or grammar!
