This seminar focuses on aspects of performance measurement and assessment. This includes the structure, basic elements and their interdependencies within a modern performance management system. Students learn about essential tools, such as target agreements, performance assessment, corrective measures and reward management. In addition, the fundamentals of motivational and occupational psychology are critically reflected in relation to employees' motivation and mental health. 

The dates for this seminar are scheduled as a block and will take place in person on three Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.:

11 December 2025: Introduction to the topic

18 December 2025: Intensification to the topic

8 January 2026: Integration and part I of performance assessment* (Please note: Thus, it is expected that you will all be present at this appointment.)

*) Performance assessment for this course is carried out in groups and includes a joint pitch (on 8 January 2026) and a jointly prepared short report.
