Contents: In this course, students get to know the very basics of "Controlling" (German understanding) and the roles and responsibilities of managers and controllers as well as get familiar with the following management control issues:
- Responsibility centers & KPIs ("control framework")
- Corporate planning and forecasting
- Performance measurement
- Managerial accounting
- IT systems for controllers
- Functional management control
- Sustainability control
Examination / grading: written examination at the end of the semester.
