International Sales Law introduces students to the legal framework governing cross-border sales of goods, with a particular focus on the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The course covers contract formation, the obligations of seller and buyer, remedies for breach, and selected issues of risk, damages, and international trade practice. It is especially designed for incoming exchange students and offers an accessible introduction to international commercial law in a comparative and practice-oriented perspective.
