Topics: In this course, we will focus on various EU policy areas from the perspective of economics (theory and practice). We will discuss policy areas such as the EU Financial System, EU Environmental and Energy Policy, EU Competition Policy, EU Trade Policy, EU Regional Policy and Digitalization/AI in the EU.
Date: Tuesdays 09:50 - 11:20 (on campus) and Fridays 09:45 - 11:15 (online via zoom); due to the rather large number of students interested, I might offer a second parallel class (to be confirmed, however) which would take place more or less bi-weekly on Thursdays from 09:45 - 13:15 and on Fridays from 11:30 - 13:00.
Assessment and contribution to module mark: written exam (bonus point scheme will be offered)
