Topics: In this course "European Business Studies", we will focus on important EU policy areas from an economic point of view. The class focuses on six core economic policy areas: The EU Financial System, EU Environmental and Energy Policy, EU Competition Policy, EU Trade Policy, EU Regional Policy and Digitalization in the EU. Regarding the different topics, we will look both into economic theory and discuss current important developments in this respect.
A study trip (1 day) to the European Central Bank in Frankfurt on November 26th will be part of the course.
Please note: European Law will this semester not be a part of the study focus “European Business Studies”
