Learning objective: applying the complete knowledge of business administration which you have acquired during your studies, so far, by designing a business simulation in the simulation software of simcision.
Content: you will develop a business blueprint for an exemplary company and write a technical concept for modelling the simulation in the software of simcision. Additionally, you will actually design the simulation in simcision's software tool.
The focus of the course or the exemplary company are the operational end-2-end processes of a company, reflected by Porter's value chain, i.e. procurement, manufacturing and marketing & sales. Besides the material flow running through those functions, you will also take the value flow or a financial perspective of those processes into account.
Examination / grading: written business blueprint (1) and technical concept for the business simulation as well as the actual model in simcision's software tool (2) - both parts will be done in teams. Furthermore, an individual reflection on your learnings (3) is also required.
